Mighty Quinn's

          I was walking through the East Village on a Friday night. There was a long line on 2nd ave. Curious to know what was going on, I asked one of the people on the line. He said, "I love the brisket, and Brontosaurus Rib!" So I stood on the lengthy line, and when I finally met the front, it was a cafeteria style setup.






The employees were taking orders chopping up the large pieces of ribs, chicken, and brisket. The infamous Brontosaurus rib was the size of a small textbook. I was a bit too intimidated to try it but I was overjoyed to see my brisket being cut. I moved down to an array of pickled vegetables, such as cabbage, peppers, and onions. I chose all of them.

          The brisket was so hearty, and succulent. I loved it! The barbecue sauce added an extra smokiness and sweetness to my dish. I wasn't a huge fan of the pickled vegetables by themselves. If I had gotten the bun, I think it would have been a great family of flavors.

          I also had the chance to taste the chicken wings. It was deep fried chicken tossed in hot sauce, and sprinkled with sesame seeds. The seeds complimented the crunch, and sweetness of the chicken.
   

I definitely recommend this place!
