Umami Burger Restaurant

             I was welcomed into a modern and casual decor. The exposed brick, square shapes, and warm colors gave it a bold, but comfortable feel. We were quickly seated, and the waitress was very nice.

             Four spoons were brought to my table filled with different sauces. I am not sure of the names of the sauces but one was ketchup, and the others were a combination of spicy, smoky, and lightly flavored. 

              I was intrigued by the burger, fries, and soda combo. Since it was a place known for their burgers, I wanted to try a classic. The combination was rather inexpensive but the catch was that the chef choses your burger from the classics menu. I was completely torn between the surprise burger combination, and the truffle burger. It sounded very tantalizing from the description on the menu. The melty cheese, and truffles combining with the flavors of the burger. And I also loved the sound of the classics.

       I chose the truffle burger, and was very pleased with my decision. The saltiness, and creaminess danced well with the flavors of the burger. I would have to say that the burger was smaller than a regular burger place but it packs more flavor in the patty. And I had also ordered a side of fries. The fries were thin but there were a perfect mix of crunchy and soft. I overall loved this place!
